The data collection not only contains the descriptions of the failure events, including the dimensions of the affected dams and the causes of their failures, but also the qualitative judgement of damages, as far as they are known and also references from the literature. At this time the permanent updated database contains information323 failures of large dams, 445 failures of small dams and 133 failures of tailing dams. |
